Repair Historic Wood Sashes to preserve integrity, save money and retain aesthetics.
A sash is generally the operable part of the window that holds the Insulated Glass in place. Seal-Rite Windows has been built on the premise that we can present a less expensive solution to a homeowner.
What makes our option cost-effective is that we repair only the parts that are bad, making the window appear again as it was when new. In our experience with the old Seal-Rite Windows, it is primarily the casement sashes that go first, sometimes including the brick mold and sills. Our sashes are made out of Southern Yellow Pine, each one handcrafted to order. All wood is dipped in the best wood preservative on the market, with the stops triple-caulked in for durability. Here at Seal-Rite Windows & More, we back our product with a Rock Solid 7 year warranty along with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty on the glass (see warranty tab).
